Southwestern Advantage Cares About Our Communities
Southwestern Advantage cares about reaching out and giving back. It's one of the core values that is instilled in the students who participate in our program. We believe that giving back to those in need is part of being successful in life.
" Share The Advantage" is an outreach program intended to collectively share all of the advantages the program offers its college and university student participants and the children who benefit from our integrated learning system. Our mission is to share education and learning skills with every child and every family, regardless of their circumstances, through qualified non-profit partnerships and local community involvement with organizations focused on helping young people.
Through charitable activities, community involvement and nonprofit partnerships, we donate subscriptions to our membership website, www.swadvantage.com. Beginning in 2011, every family who joins Southwestern Advantage Online opens the door for a less fortunate family to receive a subscription free of charge. Southwestern Advantage student dealers accumulate a donation credit for each online subscription sold.
At Southwestern Advantage, we believe that we can impact a struggling educational system, and it starts by sharing our advantage one child at a time.
Southwestern Advantage, their management team, and the student dealers have partnered with African Leadership to provide relief in the form of donations to provide training for leadership and development in Africa... learn more
The corporate family of Southwestern and its employees work hard each year to be one of the top givers to the United Way of Middle Tennessee. Our annual United Way campaign allows employees to be part of making a positive impact in Metropolitan Nashville as well as surrounding communities... learn more
Rather than having an annual company event, the employees of Southwestern Advantage and their corporate family instead allocated the money toward building a Habitat for Humanity house in 2005. The employees invested their time and effort, working together to provide a new home for the Ogorodnik Family... learn more
